Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Member Development, the coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Member Development mission of advancing the professionalism and relevance of REALTORS® worldwide through meaningful learning experiences, credentials, and programs. The Member Development Coordinator will coordinate event logistics, budgets, reporting, and member support of high-profile programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Events & Logistics: Provide logistical assistance to Director and team on various events within Member Development including education events (Financial Wellness, C2EX, Leadership Academy, Volunteer Leadership, etc.), committee meetings, symposiums, forums, webinars, etc. Prepare resume pages, A/V Needs, Menus, On-site set up, staffing as needed, etc.
  • Represent Member Development programs during NAR’s 2 major national events each year.
  • Budget & Finance: Collaborate with NAR’s Finance Group as Member Development representative; invoicing system/work flow, maintain department’s purchasing card.
  • Assist Director with preparing budgets, monthly variance reports and forecasting. 
  • Reporting: Assist Director in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Sr. VP and CEO.
  • Program Support – Provide support to Director and team on all programs within NAR’s Member Development. This includes special projects, seasonal projects, data analysis and reporting projects, committees, etc.
  • RAA/GAA and GRI Designations: Provide assistance to program manager; invoicing, billing, awarding of the RAA/GAA Designation to members. Dues renewal efforts.
  • Member Service: Serve as back-up contact assisting members, state/local association staff, NAR staff for all areas of Member Development. This includes responding to emails and phone calls.  
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Results-oriented with high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of responsiveness to all inquiries
  • Database entry, management and reporting skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
