Description

Position Summary:

The Market Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the competitive landscape across our educational product portfolio to inform strategic decision-making and maintain market leadership. This role involves tracking competitor activities, identifying emerging trends in real estate education, and conducting comprehensive market analyses. The analyst will develop actionable intelligence through systematic research, maintain competitive databases, and deliver regular insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive product differentiation and strategic positioning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor competitor activities across our educational product portfolio, including pricing changes, product launches, feature updates, and market positioning
  • Track emerging trends in the real estate education landscape, identifying potential threats and opportunities
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses and benchmarking studies across key competitors
  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence databases and dashboards for stakeholder access
  • Analyze competitor marketing strategies, messaging, and customer engagement approaches
  • Gather and synthesize information from multiple sources including competitor websites, press releases, social media, industry reports, and customer feedback
  • Prepare regular competitive intelligence reports and briefings for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Identify gaps in our educational offerings compared to competitors and highlight areas for differentiation
  • Monitor real estate regulatory changes and policy developments that may impact the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and relationship management teams to translate competitive insights into actionable recommendations
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategic analysis
  • Strong understanding of the continuing education sector and current market dynamics  
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
  • Proficiency with competitive intelligence tools and methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating compelling presentations and reports for executive audiences
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience specifically in educational technology or educational services
  • Familiarity with market intelligence platforms
  • Background in product management or strategy consulting
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in related field)

Compensation: $75,000- $95,000, depending on office location
