Position Summary:

The Research team of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is looking for an enthusiastic Research Assistant to perform quantitative data and develop research reports to provide internal and external business insights.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs quantitative data analysis and develops research reports.
  • Projects are designed to provide internal and external business insights related to conferences, project evaluation, and NAR governance.  
  • May also assist with survey research projects focusing on demographics of both members and housing consumers, policy analysis, and business activity of firms and members.
  • Assists with survey design.
  • Programs surveys in online software such as SurveyMonkey.
  • Writes SPSS syntax for data reports and performs basic statistical analysis to draw conclusion from the data.
  • Transfers data from SPSS into Excel sheets and PowerPoint to create survey research reports.
  • Tracks and updates survey deployment calendar for all NAR Groups.
  • Works with Research Analyst to programs and deploys all survey advance emails, invitations and reminders.
  • Assists with creation of sample/audience segmentation for all NAR surveys (random samples and list samples).
  • Conducts tests to improve survey response rates (A/B subject line testing, send time testing, content testing).
  • Tracks and sends survey and focus group honoraria/awards.
  • Manage survey and data inboxes and respond to pending inquiries in a timely manner
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with SPSS or other coding software programs is a plus
  • Results-oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
  • Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities directly pertaining to the position
Compensation: $52,000 -$65,000 

NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
NAR is on a hybrid schedule in the office 3 days a week.
