Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Member Experience, the Specialist, Member Experience will support and execute unified, strategic communication plans for key governance, policy, commercial, and global program areas. The Specialist, Member Experience will help to ensure consistent member experience and satisfaction in trade show presence, meetings, and events. This position will also be responsible for creating editorial and social media content across all Member Experience program areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating and maintaining communication strategies for Member Experience programs
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure a unified, cohesive message and visual experience for member communications and events
  • Write content for printed materials, e-newsletters, social media outlets, and website
  • Serve as co-staff liaison to the Communities of Interest Committee
  • Coordinate Member Experience presence at trade shows, identify show goals, and communicate logistics with staff
  • Serve as staff liaison to designers, printers, and other vendors or internal teams to produce marketing materials
  • Coordinate timelines and manage workloads to meet approved deadlines
  • Track member satisfaction metrics across all member experience touchpoints

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of marketing, communications, or journalism experience in a similar role
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple teams
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and execute projects from beginning to end
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy and understanding of audience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
