Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Processor will be responsible for reconciling National membership due payments, ensure timely processing, and record daily payment activity to 1,100 association accounts. Candidate will review accounts receivable transactions posted daily to various bank accounts, ensure timely recording of non-dues revenue transactions, resolve payment discrepancies and research payment inquiries. The AR Processor will oversee internal and external collaborations working closely with Dues System Support, JPM bank support, Financial Reporting and Dues Compliance teams to ensure efficiencies with all revenue payment processes. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the company's financial health by optimizing cash flow and ensuring efficient payment processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile membership dues payments, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the dues payment tracking system.
- Process and reconcile incoming non-dues payments, accurately posting to customer and general ledger accounts.
- Perform month-end closing tasks.
- Research and resolve ecommerce activity and dues system discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely responses to inquiries or resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with dues compliance and finance teams to ensure up-to-date records and maintain dues reconciliation report on a daily basis.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reconciliations related to membership dues.
- Support the finance team with other duties as needed, including research, data entry, and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounts receivable operations.
- Other dues, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000
