Description

Position Summary:

The Vice President, Association Engagement provides guidance to a team of relationship managers and leads the strategic oversight of NAR’s Association Executive (AE) outreach efforts by identifying and cultivating relationships with Local and State REALTOR® associations.  The successful candidate excels at stakeholder management and has a proven track record of building programs and initiatives to meet changing stakeholder needs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and inspire team to excel by fostering a culture that promotes communication, feedback, sharing, trust, commitment, and professional growth.  Create team performance metrics that ensure accountability to meeting goals and expressing NAR's core values.
  • Establish new AE relationships, oversee the onboarding process, and ensure a smooth learning journey into understanding the Realtor organization at the national level.
  • Operationalize NAR’s high-touch communication protocols for regularly communicating with AEs through meetings, calls, emails, and other in-person connections to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Work with internal communications team to produce and deliver up-to-date NAR documentation and talking points for dissemination across each region in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain deep understanding of NAR policies and offerings and manage the connection of Association Leaders with NAR VPs through the Outreach Programs.
  • Innovate new ways of communicating and delivering NARs services to the AE community.
  • Identify and understand AE needs, goals, and challenges and work with cross-functional partners to provide meaningful and appropriate solutions and services.
  • Be the first voice in addressing AE concerns, resolving issues efficiently, and managing complaints effectively.
  • Develop a cadence for regularly soliciting both quantitative and qualitative AE feedback in order to uncover trends, identify areas for improvement and enhance the AE experience.
  • Work closely with other NAR AE relationship managers and regional vice presidents, and research, communications, member experience, marketing, advocacy, legal, and innovation teams to deliver high-quality AE service.
  • Manage within team budget to ensure strong fiscal responsibility
  • Other duties, as assigned.
 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years working in real estate or account management adjacent roles
  • Demonstrated experience developing customer and brand building strategies or related experience
  • 10+ years leading high performing teams and working in complexed and matrixed organizations
  • Deep understanding of creating compelling customer journeys
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and networks to create buy-in
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills—verbal, written, and presentation
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
Compensation: $210,000 - $240,000
