Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Dues Compliance and REALTORS® Relief Foundation Services, the Dues Compliance Specialist will be responsible for the collection of REALTOR® dues owed to NAR from the Local Associations.  The ideal candidate will establish collaborative relationships for the purpose of providing support and educating the Local and State Association Executives and their staff on NAR dues policy and procedures.  Equally important is ensuring immediate response to inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service to our local and state association partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure dues payment compliance from 1,100 Local and State Associations
  • Respond to over 120 calls and emails per week during high-volume month of April.
  • Educate Association Executives and staff on NAR dues policy and procedures
  • Resolve payment and balance owed discrepancies
  • Prepare dues delinquency reports as needed
  • Prepare written communications in response to sensitive dues payment policy matters
  • Conduct in person and virtual NAR dues compliance training sessions
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, IT and M1/Ecommerce teams
  • Assist with weekly, month-end accounting and year-end audit inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years experience in collections, policy compliance and analytical review of aging reports.
  • High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office -- Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication skills-- verbal, written, and presentation
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
