Position Summary:

As part of the Advocacy Group/Political Advocacy Team, the Data Operations Manager will ensure the integrity and functionality of data systems supporting NAR's Political Advocacy Efforts and associated programs. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our political database systems, which are also utilized by our State and Local Association partners. Successful candidates will have a sincere interest in political data and be highly organized and self-motivated. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director, Political Technology to align data operations with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and extension of data systems related to political advocacy efforts.
  • Ensure data from other systems is properly received and stored in collaboration with outside vendors, as well as with NAR Finance Team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and operational status of the Advocacy Group Political database systems.
  • Create and update stored procedures for reporting and other data processing.
  • Manage onboarding of new data sources.
  • Investigate and find solutions for data irregularities.
  • Support State and Local Association partners in utilizing the platform effectively.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of work experience with exposure to large data systems design and operations.
  • Proven experience in data management and operations.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server operations and SQL programming.
  • Proficient in C# and Visual Studio IDE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Results-oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Adept at maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Good communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000
