Position Summary:

The Manager, Innovation Education and Engagement will play a critical role in shaping the future of real estate technology by driving education, engagement, and programming efforts. Reporting to the Director, Innovation Strategy, this individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering a program that includes but not limited to, educational resources and content for the real estate industry. The manager will lead efforts in marketing, social media, content creation, and partnerships to ensure that NAR's members are well-equipped to navigate and leverage new technologies. 

This position requires a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical trends into practical, digestible content for diverse audiences. Success in the role means consistently delivering high-quality, impactful information that drives industry innovation and member engagement. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trend Research and Content Creadtion (10%): Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and market trends affecting real estate, producing relevant educational content, conference programming, webinars, blogs, and virtual/in-person presentations.
  • Marketing Strategy Development (25%): Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan to promote all events, content, and media. Collaborate across departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and relevant delivery. 
  • Social Media and Web Strategy (25%): Manage the development and execution of a robust social media and web strategy that amplifies engagement with NAR's work on innovation and technology.
  • Content and Communication Planning (25%): Create and manage content and communication plans that align with market trends and industry needs. Ensure clear, concise communication across all internal and external channels.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships (15%): Work with Director to build and maintain relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and collaborators to foster a broader ecosystem and strengthen NAR's position as a leader in real estate innovation. 
  • Present about technology within the real estate industry and with adjacent industries. 
  • Present at state and local association meetings, industry conferences and in the press when it comes to technology and trends driving the real estate/housing market.
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in fast-paced environments conducting research, creating content, and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong passion for emerging technology with an understanding of blockchain, augmented/virtual reality, AI, cybersecurity, data privacy, and more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex topics to non-experts clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading marketing, social media, and content strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing effective project management capabilities and comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Comfortable with minimal direction but high expectations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%.
Compensation: $75,000-$120,000, depending on office location
