Position Summary:

The Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is NAR’s home for exceptional education. CRD is devoted to lifelong learning, career advancement, and specialized credentials for real estate professionals. With designations and certifications, microcourses, learning pathways, an award-winning podcast, and educational events, there is a learning experience for every real estate professional.

CRD is seeking a Learning Experience Design Manager to create the tactics to build these programs. The Learning Experience Design Manager is responsible for the development of both live classroom courses and digital learning experiences for 
REALTORS®The Learning Experience Design Manager reports to the Director of Learning and Development.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage new learning experiences.
  • Develop, launch, and manage new and existing CRD courses.
  • Manage course evaluation processes and data utilization.
  • Communicate and network with NAR staff, REALTORS®, brokers, training managers, education directors, instructors, and association staff to determine learning opportunities.
  • Create and manage holistic schedule of courses and updates in collaboration with L&D team.
  • Create and deliver product schedules to internal team members and vendors.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of final versions of full courses and exams, as assigned.
  • Responsible for the lifecycle of courses from creation to minor revisions to large-scale rewrites.
  • Manage work and deadlines of vendors/contractors from contract through delivery of collateral while providing feedback, as appropriate.
  • Manage engagement with subject matter experts from initial conversations through delivery of course contributions.
  • Explore innovative delivery models, and determine best delivery format for learning projects.
  • Document and drive plans to develop learning projects within various delivery formats, including classroom, virtual instructor-led, online/self-paced.
  • Maintain knowledge of current learning and development theory, instructional design best practices, and CRD online learning platforms and tools, including Crowd Wisdom learning management system, Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia.
  • Design, develop, deliver, and manage small cohort learning program.
 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant Learning and Development experience, preferably at a membership-based organization.
  • Deep knowledge in adult learning theory, learning needs analysis, and assessment/evaluation of learning required.
  • Experience with program management from concept to application, required.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with an ability to collaborate and brainstorm with team members on best practices and innovative ideas required.
  • Self-accountable and self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and be able to interact with association members, volunteers, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with blended learning design and strategy for professional adults.
  • Results oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, familiarity with Articulate, Camtasia, and LMS and survey tools required.
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of Accessibility standards (503/508 Compliance) preferred.
  • Periodic travel up to 10% is required.
