Position Summary:
In the Director of Strategy & Operations, Marketing and Communications role, you will own all things strategy and operations, which includes driving annual planning alongside the Marketing & Communications leadership team. You will craft and implement our department strategy, bringing investigative rigor to the investment approach, and represent the plans with directors and VPs across marketing, communications, finance, and other cross-functional teams. You will also streamline workflows, help us collaborate effectively with cross-company teams, and drive internal communications to amplify our initiatives. Crucially, you will work closely with the SVP of Marketing & Communications, serving as a key thought partner, designing and optimizing the department, and leading strategic projects to identify and evaluate new opportunities.
Additionally, you will be the connective tissue on the Marketing & Communications team across other NAR departments, tying together the strategy, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and creating efficiencies in how we work.This is a high-impact role that demands strong business acumen and investigative skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally at all levels. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7-10 years of experience working in an operational capacity within marketing, advertising, communications, and/or project management.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to deliver large-scale projects and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to create and maintain operational processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent process orientation as well as business acumen, investigative, quantitative reasoning and strategic skills.
- Experience with consulting.
Compensation: $140,000-$160,000
