Position Summary:
The Program Manager will have operations responsibility for both the annual Innovation, Opportunity and Investment (iOi) Summit as well as the Strategic Think Tank and its quarterly calls and annual in-person meeting. You will report to the Director of Strategy and Innovation in the Strategic Business, Innovation & Technology (SBIT) group and will be responsible for operations and program execution of both of these strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for all aspects of both programs from managing their logistics to coordinating activities with all internal and external participants as well as actively tracking all expenses. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, scrappy, able to multi-task, a creative thinker, an adept collaborator and excited about the opportunity to drive innovation in one of the largest industries in the country. Finally, you must be results-oriented and have a proven track record of exceeding expectations throughout your career.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations and logistics of the annual iOi conference
  • Be the central point of contact for vendors, speakers, and sponsors of the iOi conference
  • Be the central point of contact within NAR for operations and logistics of the annual iOi conference
  • Track and report upon key metrics for the annual iOi conference including expenses, attendance and attendee satisfaction
  • Manage the finances/budget for the annual iOi conference
  • Be the central point of contact for support staff for Strategic Think Tank members
  • Be the central point of contact within NAR for operations and logistics of the Strategic Think Tank
  • Manage the finances/budget for Strategic Think Tank meetings
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with related experience
  • Proven ability to develop, adapt, and manage long-term plans and business strategies to create value
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Highly organized and possessing effective project management capabilities
  • Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities and ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Comfortable with minimal direction but high expectations
  • Proven attention to detail that can be demonstrated through prior work experience.
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
  • Strong team player with ability to effectively multitask with multiple parties concurrently
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
