Position Summary:

The Advocacy Financial Processor will manage reimbursements and processing of funding provided to REALTOR® = Associations through Advocacy grants and political programs. This includes entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling information. The Financial Processor will also assist the Advocacy Finance Director with budget tracking and processing to ensure that the Finance team runs smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and process documentation received for the reimbursement of various grant funding awarded to state and local Associations through Advocacy programs.
  •  Evaluate information for completeness and appropriateness.
  • Begin initial processing and accurate assignment of codes, descriptions and provide historical tracking of time and date through final resolution.
  • Communicate with local Associations to ensure the timeliness of documentation submissions and grant reimbursements.
  • Provide information, follow up and assistance.
  • Provide accounting and other financial related support for the Advocacy team, as needed.
  • Other duties, as needed
 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience with budgeting administration or financial processing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple programs.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Results-oriented with a high attention to detail
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
  • Professional and poised demeanor when interacting with committee leaders and members at all levels of the association.
  • High level of proficiency with accounting procedures
  • Ability to travel up to 5 events a year
