Description

Position Summary:

NAR is seeking a motivated Member Engagement Specialist to support the integrated communications and event support strategies for governance meetings, Member Engagement programs, and key member touchpoints. This role develops and delivers member-facing messaging and assets across channels, and ensures consistent, high-quality experiences for targeted audiences. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute communications plans for governance meetings and programs, including timelines, messaging, and meeting materials support for key leadership audiences.
  • Support Member Engagement meetings, events, and program areas by producing messaging and coordinating event and program materials such as handbooks, new member orientation communications, and related collateral in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide on-site and pre-event support for select conference programming and outreach activations at NAR and industry conferences, serving as a primary point of contact for logistics and execution of outreach booth and ambassador programming.
  • Support development of marketing and communications deliverables for Member Engagement program areas, including newsletters, social media, web, email, and print.
  • Maintain content calendars and workflows across key tools and platforms; track, report, and optimize engagement metrics to improve the quality and effectiveness of communications.
  • Provide staff support for governance communities on NAR’s community engagement platform.
  • Other duties, assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting communications, member/customer engagement, events, or program operations with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, editing, and message-development skills, with the ability to tailor communications for distinct audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain organized workflows and content calendars.
  • Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple teams.
  • Ability to support live events, including occasional travel (up to 15%), and on-site execution
  • Experience working in association management or non-profit organizations is a plus  
Compensation: $65,000 -$85,000 

NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance. 
NAR is on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week.
