Position Summary:

The Manager, Grants and Resources, plays a key role in advancing the National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR) Community Development Advocacy (CDA) work by managing several high-impact grant programs, educational offerings, and engagement initiatives for state and local REALTOR® associations.

This position manages NAR’s Fair Housing, Placemaking, and Rural Outreach Grant Programs and supports associations in leveraging REALTOR® expertise to advance fair housing education, community placemaking, and rural engagement efforts. The Manager also leads CDA webinars and learning labs, coordinates walkability tours, manages select communications platforms, and supports cross-departmental initiatives that elevate REALTOR® advocacy at the local and state level.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Fair Housing, Placemaking, and Rural Outreach Grant Programs, supporting state and local REALTOR® associations in advancing community-based advocacy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to amplify grant outcomes and success stories, including:
  • Plan, develop, and manage Community Development Advocacy webinars, learning labs, and weekly association planning sessions.
  • Research, plan, promote, and manage Walkability Tours during NAR conferences.
  • Manage the Spaces to Places Blog Program, ensuring consistent promotion of CDA grants and resources.
  • Support special projects including surveys and focus groups to advance CDA efforts in collaboration with NAR Research.
  • Other duties, as assigned
 

Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in advocacy, community development, housing policy, or program management.
  • Experience managing grant programs, application review processes, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with state and local REALTOR® associations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, urban planning, community development, housing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience working with professional or membership associations.
  • Familiarity with fair housing, placemaking, rural development, or land use issues.

Compensation: $120,000- $140,000, depending on office location

NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.

NAR is on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week.
