Description

Position Summary:
As part of the Advocacy Group, the PAC Manager will work under the direction of the PAC Director to set overall fundraising strategy for NAR’s REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and its associated programs.  You will interface with state and local REALTOR associations, NAR membership and RPAC Trustees to ensure RPAC goals are achieved, RPAC grant programs are facilitated and fundraising tools and resources are deployed effectively.  Successful candidates will have a history of political fundraising, in particular with PACs, and be highly organized and self-motivated. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Vice President, Political Advocacy, the Director, PAC, PAC team, and PAC REALTOR® leaders, develop fundraising strategy with the goal of increasing receipts, participation, Major Investors, and the use of NAR tools and resources.
  • Represent NAR/RPAC Fundraising Programs, and interface with REALTOR® state and local associations to promote and facilitate their use of NAR RPAC Fundraising Programs and resources. Educate state and local associations about RPAC fundraising policies, best practices and guidelines, recognition and benefits structure, and legal compliance best practices.
  • Manage and administer the RPAC Fundraising Grant Program for use by REALTOR® state and local associations and work with NAR Leadership Resources to provide RPAC Fundraising information relevant to NAR member leaders and their respective fundraising efforts.
  • With a focus on customer service, regularly assess and modernize NAR RPAC’s recognition efforts as well as its annual Staff Solicitation fundraising campaign.
  • Serve as Staff Executive for the RPAC Trustees Fundraising Committee and the RPAC Participation Council. In addition to executing all preparation for committee and council meetings, be responsible for in person and webinars RPAC tutorials, strategize with Affiliate Groups to bolster broad RPAC investment strategy.
  • Assist Director, RPAC with RPAC Fundraising and Recognition Program budgets.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
 

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of work experience with at least 3 years of experience related to political fundraising, working with PACs and/or experience for a member-based trade association
  • Results oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems
  • Adept at maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
