Description

Position Summary:

The Leadership Development Specialist of the Engagement/Association Leadership Development team will perform a variety of functions to manage and support the leadership and professional development program offerings for REALTOR® association executives.  This position will report to the Director of Engagement and Association Leadership Development. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide marketing and customer service support for Association Executive (AE) professional development course offerings
  • Manage AE Institute functions that support greater audience engagement including the silent auction, charity event, audio recording order/sales, and signature clothing/memorabilia fundraiser
  • Manage the AE Mentor Program
  • Support orientation programs and services for new AEs
  • Serve as staff liaison to annual ad hoc AE work groups
  • Maintain timely and current content for the AE audience page at nar.realtor
  • Assist in the maintenance and update of all online REALTOR® association management toolkits
  • Provide technical and logistical support for all of the team’s virtual, live, and hybrid meetings/sessions
  • Other duties, as assigned
 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in marketing, communications, or program management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute projects from beginning to end
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Results-oriented with a high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills to work well with members and staff across team lines
  • Professional and poised demeanor when interacting with committee leaders and members at all levels of the association
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High level of proficiency with technology to manage and support virtual and hybrid meetings
  • Ability to travel to three annual NAR conferences
