Position Summary:

The National Association of REALTORS® seeks an innovative storyteller, proficient in creative editing. The Producer/Editor is experienced in promotional, social and longer form content. Working in tandem with other NAR teams to understand business goals and strategies then translate into creative and exciting content across multimedia platforms. The ability to field produce, script and edit content that drives interest and elevates our member experience is a must.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere and editing software
  • Clear understanding of studio equipment and techniques including cameras and lighting
  • Exhibits strong camera abilities and creative editing
  • Ability to conduct interviews and guide clients, agencies and graphic designers from ideation through final delivery
  • Lead pre-production meetings to better understand business goals
  • Field produce shoots
  • Strong script writing skillset with a focus on storytelling
  • Manage production budgets; hiring of small crews when necessary
  • Support development of Content Calendar, video and photo library
  • Work in tandem with Marketing, Communications and Events teams to execute cohesive creative and communication across all platforms.
  • Juggle multiple deadline-driven projects with flexibility
  • Other duties, as assigned
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Broadcast Journalism, Communications or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years of Production, Creative, Marketing and or Advertising  agency experience
  • Strong script-writing skills for multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong editing skills required
  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • A solid understanding of how to maintain a consistent style and voice
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of video-content management systems
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
