Description

Location: This role can only be located in the Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC office. 

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Communications, as the Manager, Digital Marketing, you’ll lead digital marketing and advertising initiatives in a creative and collaborative environment. More specifically, you’ll get to work closely with website content strategists, marketers, email marketing specialists, social media teams, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with and advise internal groups on digital marketing strategy, and execute advertising campaigns across SEM, display, retargeting, social media, and other platforms/channels
  • Collaborate with our content, creative, marketing, web, social, and email teams to ensure a holistic approach to our digital marketing initiatives
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Advise, execute, and refine Personalization strategies
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing campaigns across SEM, display & retargeting, video, audio, social media and other emerging platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write and edit copy for testing different messages
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
