Description

Position Summary:

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is seeking a Program Manager, Safety and Member Training, to manage our REALTOR® Safety and Business Specialty Programs. This individual will have the opportunity work with members and association staff at a local, state and national level.

As the Manager, Safety and Member Training, you will work with the Director, Member Training and Broker Services to develop and execute strategies to engage, connect, and educate our members. The primary area of responsibility will be serving as the Program Manager for the REALTOR® Safety Program.  This position will also serve as Staff Executive for multiple national education programs.  In this role, you will continuously work to strengthen relationships within NAR communities, including REALTOR® members, association staff at all levels, and various other stakeholders.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research and recommend content programs and growth strategies to increase member engagement for the REALTOR® Safety program
  • Communicate with NAR’s marketing team to create and execute program marketing campaigns
  • Serve as Staff Executive to REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee
  • Manage REALTOR® Safety Grant program

  • Serve as Staff Executive to Professional Development and Resort & Second Home Committees​​​​
  • Manage program accreditation for Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)
  • Maintain appraiser designation programs
  • Work collaboratively with state and local associations, partners, and industry groups on implementation and adoption of programs
  • Identify and manage program goals and success metrics
  • Coordinate trade show presence for programs
  • Work with Director to manage and track budget for programs expenses & revenue

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry and association management is a plus.
  • Understanding of Safety best practices, trends, and technologies related to real estate communities
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and poise when interacting with committee leaders, members and individuals at all levels within the Association.
  • Results-oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, respond quickly and  meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient understanding of marketing campaigns, content, and messaging.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
