Description

Position Summary:

As part of the Member Experience, Engagement, and Legal Affairs group, the Manager of Governance and Global Volunteer Services, is the primary contact for NAR´s Global Ambassador Program, creating, implementing, and maintaining all governance and administrative aspects of it to maximize engagement of the global volunteer leaders and the effectiveness in helping to manage NAR´s bilateral relationships in all 6 continents. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the grant review process of various Global related groups. This individual will also directly oversee the bilateral relationships of NAR in assigned countries to strengthen networks and build business opportunities for our members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement the onboarding, orientation, and administration of the Global Ambassador and Global Coordinator program.
  • Plan and execute the Global Ambassador and Global Coordinator application and appointment process for NAR Leadership.
  • Manage member travel budget and oversee distribution of travel funds with the guidance of the Global Alliances Advisory Board and Global Business and Alliances Committee Leadership.
  • Develop and implement communication programs, presentations and marketing materials for Global Volunteers.
  • Manage and oversee NAR bilateral and multilateral relations in assigned countries toward the broad goal of strengthening professional associations/networks, building business opportunities for US members.
  • Plan and coordinate the program and logistics of NAR Leadership Team’s visits to bilateral partners´ meetings and events.
  • With the help of the Global Volunteers and bilateral partners, monitor the use and misuse of the NAR copyrighted logos and materials in assigned countries.
  • Serve as staff executive to NAR’s Global Alliances Advisory Board.
  • Manage grant application and review process for the Reaume Foundation.
  • Serve as primary contact for the REALTOR Fund for Global Assistance Board of Directors, ensuring meeting logistics and administrative duties are successfully executed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of related experience in a not-for-profit entity. Real estate industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Member service-oriented individual with exceptional ability to create and maintain volunteer relationships serving as a trusted point of contact with them.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, motivate, lead and relate effectively to a wide variety of individuals; excellent oral and written skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of methods related to the conduct of volunteer programs for non-profit organizations.
  • Demonstrated cross cultural communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of association industry governance framework.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management skills and thorough attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 15%.
